A Crisis Turned Opportunity
Just weeks before the 2010 Western Idaho Fair, Expo Idaho’s longtime Marketing Director stepped down. With the Fair rapidly approaching and no time to hire or train a replacement, CLM, now Fusion was asked a simple question: “Can you step in and help us pull this off?”

We didn’t hesitate. We assembled a cross-functional team and immediately assumed full marketing leadership, handling media, creative, sponsorships, press, and promotions. The Fair launched without a hitch. That moment marked the beginning of a lasting partnership. Over the next 15 years, we have evolved from emergency fill-in to strategic partner.

An Extension of the Expo Team
We now serve as the embedded marketing, PR, and sponsorship arm of Expo Idaho and the Western Idaho Fair. We operate as an integrated part of their team year-round, without the overhead of a traditional in-house department.

Expo Idaho is in its largest growth period in its existence, and we are using the Fusion GROW program as they take the next step in scaling with the addition of events on the Expo campus, the launch of The Park at Expo Idaho and Boise Pro Soccer, and the continued growth of Western Idaho Fair.
